nice looking game but the controls aint for me , would be great if it was arrows and zx

could you add some information about the controls and how to play please ? i just keep dying as i dont know what to do !

the phasing is a bit too random for me and the whole thing seems a bit too hard ? no idea what to do after getting the phase thing due to the yellow doors/ blocks ?

looks cool but massive freezing up issues when using firefox , like at least 10 seconds at the start of the level before the character appears then freezes again during each level for about 5 seconds meaning its unplayable at the moment...

could you change using the mouse to transform into a key instead ? using 2 different input methods in a game is never a good idea , and it makes it especially awkward to play on a laptop !

what do the stars you collect do ? seem a bit pointless as the reset to zero if you die ?

whats up with the moving platforms ?! slippy as hell , you just slide off them when stood still ...

weirdly the arrow keys seem to work as controls (which i prefer) for the first few screens then seem to stop !

any reason why ?

i would tag this as very hard , no idea how to get to the checkpoint on the level with the 3 bouncing platforms on the bottom that sometimes dont seem to work ?

the jump is a bit odd , especially at the start of level 5 where it doesnt seem to trigger properly when trying to double jump over the first pit ...

those stomp boots dont seem to work on the first enemies you encounter - always seem to lose 2 lives there ?

you can get softlocked in the bottom right corner of 3 if you dont have any of the explosive potions as none appear when you restart

gave up on the pentinent shall pass level , that would be hard enough if it was in normal light but in the dark ?!

the candles dont do anything for me , pointer doesnt change to a hand when im on them so totally stuck !

nice game but it makes my laptop overheat and after a while it goes all slow and "blocky" so needs optimizing

cant think of a particular game off the top of my head but using a direction key and somethimg like x to shoot at the same time to aim would be good enough i think ?

well this is confusing !!! stuck in the bottom section after getting the drone , in the area with the big section of water and cant seem to get back to the start ...

also the game makes my laptop run really hot !

using 2 input methods for controls is never a good idea - got to first boss and gave up as its too awkward on a laptop ... fix that and it got potential

nope , trying again and i still cant get anywhere near to the exits to that room - up or to the right ... any chance you can post a walkthrough or something to help ?

rebinding would be a good idea ! i prefer arrows anyway and space for jump , x for the hook ... but everyones different . something closer to the spacebar would be better , m or n maybe ?

im stuck in the  room that tells you about a super jump after wall jumping - i cant seem to get it to work , am i miossing something ?

ok , a couple of problems for me ...

died in the 1st boss fight and got a black screen when tried to respawn , had to exit the game .

keyboard controls suck ! if you have to use a and d then please put the other controls on the other side of the keyboard to space it out a bit - its too cramped up as it is... i prefer arrow keys , space and zx anyway but im old school ...

the weapon is pretty useless , its range is too short for me and with the knockback you get from being hit by enemy bullets its pretty hard to get close enough to them to get a hit in .

design and style are spot on for me though !

this is a really great game but so so difficult ! some of it feels unfair , like if you die and respawn in a place where you get shot by a dart straight away ( level 3 ) and swinging from hook to hook - its near impossible for me to connect to the second one when i try ... and even connecting to the first hook seems hit and miss - perhaps the range of the hook when fired is a bit too short ?

apart from that , lovely artwork , good controls ( apart from using alt , x or c would be better )

a problem here - if your not in fullscreen pressing alt clicks you out of the game and you then have to click back in to move the character,

everything else seems great so far ...

not sure but i doubt it - been gaming all weekend with no issues using arrows for movement !

strange , i was well aware of the fuel bar and had it full when attempting the jump but at least 10 times out of 10 it literally would not jump when using the up arrow key and then when i switched to wasd it worked first time, and a few times after that - i switched back to arrows and again couldnt get it to work so i assumed it was a problem with the keys ?

just checked again and still not working for me !
