Subject: Genre Defining

As Ken Burns is to documentaries and Will and Ariel Durant were to The Story of Civilization, this was to Ancient History. The publication date does not matter, as most of the lessons here rings true for us now more than ever. And much like Durant’s Story of Civilization, it’d only be depressing and make one lost faith in humanity to document fully the happenings of the last few recent decades. This is one of those necessities for any amateur armchair literati.

Subject: Good set, but some volumes are missing pages

Volume IV in this set is missing the first three chapters - 1, 2 and 3a. If anyone can find a pdf of the vol iv with the missing chapters intact I'd be grateful.
