2023-12-07 My sisters cat had kittens two days ago! they are so so so sooooo cute. so cute. they set up so that they can keep an eye on them through a webcam and also gave me access to it, so i have some insanely good slow tv going on my end. As we speak, all four of them (3 kittens and their momma) are chilling in their box. Oop no momma just left. oooo the little kitties are soooo sleepy. so scrungly. so bean-shaped. cant wait to hang out with them over christmas. by god they are so eepy. just... just like me..... zzzz.... mimimimimi...........

2023-12-04 i watched the hbomb plagiarism video yesterday. as someone who liked internet historian until he made the colab with j*ntr*n (i had not seen his dashcon video, or his old less tasteful shit), i would have definitely gobbled up the man in cave video! I love cave stuff, it is terrifying. I also watch wendigoon sometimes, and his appearance in man in cave makes me... well, think again and has awakened my own inner detective. not to plagiarize the Hbomb, of course ;). in other news: biophysical chemistry is kicking my ass. i am dying. NMR??? who is she?????? i do not understand her :(.

2023-12-03 there is snow here now. not alot, but a bit. the air is not so moist anymore either. which is nice, since the moisture made it so that i could not keep the cold out no matter how much clothes i put on in the mornings. soon i will be travelling further north for the holidays, which will be nice. there will probably be more snow up there, which is always fun. it makes everything looks so soft, and i like it. im a little worried about travelling with my cat though, she really isnt super fond of being in her travel bag. she also really does not like my parents' cats, even though she gre up with them and lived with them for like 11 years. she has now decided she hates them and will growl if they look at her wrong.

2023-11-30 journal time! didnt want to make a full page for this, so here we are-
anyways, i wanted to say that the other day my partner and i went to see the boy and the heron the other day. It was very nice, i liked it alot. might even be my favourite miyazaki, buy i might have to rewatch spirited away before making my decision. it was weird though, there was a couple in this theater that seemed to know everyone who walked into the screening? at one point, some dude even pushed himself in infront of me and my partner, on our row, to hug them before he left in the middle of the movie. It was really weird. anyways, good movie, partner was great company and the theatre we go to is this small place that serves food during screenings so it is always a very pleasant experience.

Hbomberguy - Plagiarism and You(Tube): this video examines the rampant plagiarism on youtube among larger creators (especially James Somerton, whose career is now left... well, H-bombed). Interesting and investigative, thought-provoking for those who consume alot of "informative" videos on youtube and the likes (me).

uncleftish beholding: in this text, the author explains the basics the elements, while removing all words loaned from greek, latin and french (basically all greek and latin langauges). I think it shows the importance of cultural exchange in regards to the natural sciences.

HORG: an organisation taxonomizing Occlupanids, a fascinating parasitic member of the phylum plasticae. fun insight into the work of taxonomization and how species are classified in the scientific world.
