Dr. Tsilimigras is a Clinical Instructor Housestaff at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He received his MD degree (summa cum laude) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece in 2017. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Ohio State University prior to holding his current position.
Dr. Tsilimigras’s clinical interests include general surgery and surgical oncology. His research is focused on clinical outcomes in surgical oncology, mainly hepatopancreatobiliary surgery as well as the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques in cancer research. He has a strong interest in clinical trial in surgery. He has published more than 350 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as the Lancet, Nature Reviews Disease Primers, Annals of Surgery, JAMA Surgery, British Journal of Surgery, Annals of Surgical Oncology and others. His work has been cited more than 7000 times. He has served as a Reviewer for more than 25 scientific journals. He serves as an Associate Editor in 1 scientific journal and Editorial Board member for 5 scientific journals.
