Zhenpeng Chen and His Doctoral Dissertation Overview:
Zhenpeng Chen embarked on his academic journey in 2012 when he enrolled in the undergraduate program at the School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science at Peking University. In 2016, he earned a direct admission to the graduate program at the same institution. In 2018, he transitioned from his master's studies to a doctoral program, under the guidance of Academician Hong Mei, with assistance from Prof. Xianzhe Liu. Presently, he serves as a postdoctoral researcher at University College London in the United Kingdom, with Prof. Mark Harman, a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, as his collaborative advisor. His primary research interests revolve around the fields of software engineering and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Zhenpeng Chen 's doctoral dissertation, titled "Research on User Context Parsing Technology Based on Ubiquitous Interactive Text," addresses a significant issue within the field of computer software – user context parsing. His research delves deep into the progress made in user context parsing based on interactive text, analyzes and summarizes the existing challenges in the field, and proposes a novel approach for user context parsing based on ubiquitous interactive text. This approach explores user context parsing and intelligent software service recommendations from a fresh perspective, carrying high theoretical significance and practical value. Notably, it demonstrates a significant improvement in comparison to concurrent domestic and international research achievements.
Dr. Zhenpeng Chen has published 25 papers in top-tier computer science conferences and journals, including WWW, ICSE, ESEC/FSE, and TOSEM, among which 21 are CCF-A class papers. He has been recognized as an outstanding reviewer by international top-tier journals TOSEM and TWEB and has served as a committee member for prestigious international conferences such as WWW, ASE, KDD, and ICWS. His first-authored paper presented at the CCF-A class conference WWW 2019 received the Best Paper Award, marking the first time a Chinese scholar has achieved this recognition in this conference's history, which dates back to 1994.
During his academic journey, Dr. Zhenpeng Chen received numerous accolades, including the "May Fourth Medal" from Peking University, the "Person of the Year" award from Peking University, the National Scholarship, and the Microsoft Scholar Award, to name a few.
