Bailey and little sister Grace try out the famous “Paul Bunyan Baby Boots” at the Pine River Information Center. From all accounts, these are the only baby boots of Paul’s to be found anywhere. You’re invited to come in and take your own photo standing in Paul’s baby boots!

The historic and newly renovated Pine River Railroad Depot received national recognition on Saturday, September 8, 2012, by being accepted to the National Register of Historic Places. The newly remodeled depot was brought back to its 1913 Northern Pacific appearance. Heritage Group North was the local history organization that worked with many others to bring this recognition!
Through late May through the end of September, the Pine River Farmer’s Market takes place every Friday from 2:30 to 5:30 next to the Depot and Chamber offices in Pine River. Located at the corner of MN 371 and Barclay Avenue, the market is packed with fresh produce, baked goods, snacks, and the works of local artists. Staffed fully by volunteers from Pine River Market Square, the farmer’s market makes for a delightful day out.
