Writing good copy for image alt attributes can be exceedingly difficult, and even more awkward to test.
This utility approximates standards-compliant text-to-speech rendition of a URL by stripping away all CSS, and replacing images with the content of their alt attribute. If your alts are well-written, a page passed through this service should read naturally and not lack too much content.

Test for good alt usage
Please note, this is merely intended as a convenient tool during development and is not a replacement for extensive accessibility testing using actual accessibility software, consulting with accessibility professionals, testing with real handicapped people, etc.
Protip: having good alts sometimes means having empty alts. Usually the way to spot this is repeated text.
