See a map of where Shawn has kayaked and canoed!
I mostly paddle the Yahara River, Cherokee Lake, Lake Mendota, and waters around Madison, WI.
Kayak is a Necky Looksha IV 1999 kevlar 17ft.
Canoe is RKL handmade wood strip of western red cedar with Honduras Mahogany wood trim - it's gorgeous!

Circumnavigated Kerrera Island the second day (not sure where went the first day)
(Seafreedom Kayak) My best trip ever - great guide and nice B&B.
Sandringham (East Coast Kayaking)
Hayama City [location on mapquest-Sagami
Bay]
surfin' after dark!
north Budapest in the ancient roman part of the city (Aquincum), in the green belt of the Roman Bank (Római part) of the Danube [location on mapquest-Danube]
From the City of Toronto Harbourfront, across
the Inner Harbour , through the channels around the islands, back across the
harbour, under a landing airplane, and with big ferries and yachts.
It was too windy the afternoon I planned to paddle. I was invited to a cookout
of the Queen's
Quay Disabled Sailing Association and had a great time talkin' and boastin'
'bout boating and life. My flight was the next day so I got up before dawn for
a sunrise paddle. [location on mapquest-Toronto]
From Sandycove - near the James Joyce Tower and past a famous swimming hole that was once men-only and nude (now females are allowed and "togs" are required). A friendly seal plays with the boats, swimming upside down along the sides, pushing at the ends, chasing us, and popping up next to the cockpit.
From Bray, with a stop for a drink and a very challenging return trip.
kayaking off Vashon Island with Wendy C & in Mercer Slough... were those two different trips or the same? will check with Wendy
canoeing with mom, dad, niece, nephew
whitewater kayaking one day (not sure which river, though) and tottlin' in a "duckie" (inflatable single kayak, more like a personal raft) on the French Broad River another day
