Dr. HDR. Ghazaleh Khodabandelou is a Professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Paris-Est. She is conducting research in AI at the Laboratoire Image, Signaux et Systèmes Intelligents (LISSI). She holds an HDR and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Paris-Est and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, respectively. Her research focuses on advanced optimization techniques, large language models, and vision-language models, with applications in human-centric computing, intention mining, ambient assisted living, healthcare, robotics, and emotional intelligence. Dr. Khodabandelou has collaborated internationally with renowned institutions, including Paderborn University, DePaul University, the University of Washington, Télécom SudParis, Sorbonne Université, University of Turin, University of Vienna, CentraleSupelec, and École de Technologie Supérieure.
